Transfer using a third party client

Prerequisites

• An SFTP client is required to allow secure data transfer to Experian. The steps described in this section of the guide will explain data transfer using WinSCP as the client.

  WinSCP is used as an example and is intended to explain the general process and configuration. In this example, WinSCP version 5.15.3 is used, so the look and feel may change slightly if a different version is used.

• A private key file used for authentication.

  Contact the Experian Secure Transport Service (STS) team for your private key file.
